On 30th December 1996, a seed was carefully selected, planted, and nurtured in the fertile soil of Erode. Visionary anesthesiologists with hearts of gold—Dr. M. Rangasamy, Dr. Muthukrishnan, myself and Dr. N. Ganapathy—tended to this sprout, which has since grown into a towering Banyan tree. This mighty tree, symbolic of our association, has sent down countless roots, grounding and stabilizing it to ensure its lasting presence.

The roots represent our young generation, who continue to strengthen and support the tree, allowing new faces to flourish and contribute to the growth of our community.

The core mission of the ESA is to foster personal connections among members and to engage in professional discussions that sharpen our skills and address any challenges we encounter in the practice of anesthesia. The ESA excels in this mission by organizing monthly meetings, hosting conferences—two successfully completed and a third on the horizon—and participating in various professional events.

He is also serving as the secretary of the Erode Society of Anaesthesiologists and contributing to community service through Lions club international.
